Driving Range Tee Enhancement Driving range tee deck is in need of major repairs. The current tee deck system is 10 years old. This project would give the driving range an overall face-lift, as it is one of the weakest areas in the golfer experience at Wintergreen. The project would include a new hitting surface that is low maintenance, new range balls, smaller 3-4 foot fencing around the perimeter of the landing area to minimize lost range balls. Continue with Bunker Sand Replacement #11 Front green bunker 5. New White Spruce Trees Course Conditions Although weather has been hit and miss through the month of July the course and crew did hang in there. Drainage work done over the last 5-6 seasons did move the moisture allowing the course to dry at an acceptable rate. New bunker sand has been ordered and we will start replacing the sand

Our goal is to make this process enjoyable and productive for those participating with the final outcome benefiting Wintergreen golf facility, Members and their guests. Our goal is to put together a 5-year plan for improvements required to the golf course by using the information gathered from the four comparable golf courses.
