Members: Rav Singh Alf Beaudry Chris Bach Ron Peiluck Course Comparables This year we have revised the approach and process on comparing Wintergreen to other courses keeping golf fundamentals the primary focus. Our goal is to make this process enjoyable and productive for those participating with the final outcome benefiting Wintergreen golf facility, Members and their guests. Our goal is to put together a 5-year plan for improvements required to the golf course by using the information gathered from the four comparable golf courses. Player Responsibilities Regarding Handicaps
When you become a member at Wintergreen you automatically become a member of Golf Canada and have access to their handicap system. If you do not have access or have forgotten your sign in please contact Tom Day in the pro shop and he’ll get you on line. What scores should you be entering for handicapping purposes? And why do we have to enter them all? Even the ones we don’t like! Fair handicapping depends upon full and accurate information regarding a player’s potential scoring ability as reflected by a complete scoring record. Every player must be responsible

Why Have A Handicap?
Having a handicap is simply to make the game more enjoyable by enabling golfers of differing abilities to compete equitably. It also enables you to measure your golf ability and performance improvements and to assess them relative to others. Wintergreen now has many activities where a handicap is necessary to participate. Those include:
